Why did you choose to align with WITPGH?
I am grateful for the work that WITPGH does and as someone who had no guidance in the tech industry, I am happy to help other women that come behind me. I’m deeply inspired by all WIT board members, our executive director, and staff and want to help in any way I can.
How did you become a woman in tech?
Out of pure curiosity. I was engaged through my interest in robotics and 3D printing. But in the last 10 years, I have found a home and a wonderful community in the tech industry despite not having a technical degree.
What are your passions, in tech or out?
I am passionate about agtech, robotics, space exploration, and drinking extra hot tea.
What inspires or motivates you?
Meeting and exceeding expectations at work and my two amazing girls at home.
Piece of advice for someone getting into tech….
I don’t have much advice as everyone is on a very different journey but I believe that as a woman in tech, persistence and precision is key.
